From what i understand they drifted apart because Takehara became scared of Amano's intense feelings. He slowly stopped speaking to him after that bj. The reason Amano suddenly did the bj, was because he wanted to erase the memory after giving that other player one for Takahara's sake. He did it to make the player calm down and leave Takahara alone. Amano had strong feelings for Takahara, but Takahara kind of went with the flow, not taking it too seriously or thinking too deeply. So when he realised how intense Amano's feeling were be became scared and started distancing himself until they both went their separate ways. He could never forget him though. Amano was broken hearted from the whole experience because he loved him. Thats what i took from it anyway. Also what i take from the end is that Amano doesnt really trust Takahara's feelings, because Takahara always acted on a whim. He has abandoned him once before already, and was going to do it a second time after stirring things up. Takahara said to himself that he was too immature to handle such intense feelings when they were kids but now he can, but its going to take time until he proves his feelings. That is what ive taken from it, maybe someone else might see it different. :)
