I was confused too but I think its the mothers funeral.
it was the Uke's mother funeral, he got married to fulfil his mothers wish to see him have a family so he will not be alone, and at page 1 the Uke is praying in front on the altar (i dont what it called)
so cute, they fell in love because of talking and things got complicated due to family. The only thing that confuses me is that at one point there is a funneral picture with them while the rest have them talk about divoreces. so I wonder if his wife died or not.
