Hmmm I dont think so.
She tried to kill Sanwoo as a kid and then after her husband's death, she tried to kill Sangwoo again with poison.
I dont think that the death is a big deal for her.
If she wanted to kill Sangwoo, then she would've already done it(Killing him in his sleep for example) but she didn't, posibility is that she wanted him to be sick so she can feel value by taking care of him.
Ok she could have killed him another way but the posioning is less obvious than the other methods.
And posioning in the end after long time of taking would in the end cause death or very serious side effects.
And she also was poisoning her husband and was really happy when he died.
She also tried to kill Sanwoo once.
So i I wouldnt be so sure about that.
Sangwoo's backstory is so fascinating. In a way you can kind of compare the person he was from back then to the person he turned Bum into. Obviously it's not the same, but in a sense he was fearing for his own life and sanity as well. Actually I'm amazed that he didn't snap sooner from the amount of abuse he witnessed.
Also surprised that the mom didn't just straight up stab the dad while he was sleeping? But I guess that's harder to pull off. Anyway her deal with poisoning her son is a little...
Well, it's just interesting to look at things that happened to Sangwoo that turned him into a monster. Ngl, I feel like I gained a deeper understanding of his character with this chapter.
