Exactly. It seems like nothing has happened in terms of him developing as a character. Rape, zero communication or consideration of the other party, only now there is a baby in the room next door. Is Dojin going to apologise for his behaviour in this chapter, or have the capacity to understand why it was wrong and maybe why Hye-sung can't be bothered to stay in the same bed with such a man?
Omg. Why do you guys think that scene was rape? They clearly both wanted it. Their bodies did anyway. I mean, I guess you could say Hyesung or Dojin can't control their heat when they're around each other which is NORMAL for an omegaverse yaoi.
And I'll bet in the next chapter Hyesung is going to try to bond with his baby.
Ok the scene wasn't good in the full context but you must be blind. He did not even grab him by the throat but his chin. THERE'S A DIFFERENCE. And here you guys are, arguing about rape when you can't even get the facts straight.
There is a difference. Just by you seeing it incorrectly, you made it seem like he was super violent and was practically choking Hyesung when in actuality he was just more firm and held his face. There are shadows under his hands and space between Hyesung's throat and Dojin's hands. I would think you would notice too if you ONLY saw pictures but clearly not. Nevertheless the sex scene was unnecessary but get your facts straight before you make an opinion or else that opinion is just based on false premises.
Shadows and lines. You don't have to specifically say "strangled" or "choke" to make it seem violent. Grabbing someone's throat, isn't really non violent. But whatever, if you say its rape scene then I guess it is.
People are trying to justify it as if it was some consensual rough sex scene, like hun no. Does Hye-sung feel safe in the environment, nope. Does he regard Dojin as his partner, nope. Is he physically and mentally well, nope. Was Dojin's violence motivated by wanting to do something both understood and consented too, nope, he was motivated out of anger and wanting to dominate Hye-sung. I thought the plot would at this stage have shown some progress, but it really hasn't. Both aren't communicating, fair enough, but the author is still trying to show rape as justifiable which really is poor show. Because when you are upset, trying to sleep and the man who raped you rather than learn his lesson and try to be more egalitarian, imposes his views on you, goes for your neck and then rapes you, that would usually lead to a police report or trying to flee, not in yaoi logic though.
Dojin is a f*cking moron does he not know how to communicate outside of sex. Here I was thinking they would actually TALK in chapter 39. But apparently grabbing someones throat and raping someone is the way to go. And F*CK hyesung for not being straight with Dojin.
