As much as the story was interesting to me...it was MUCH too idiotic in many departments.
Not only does the main character have no self confidence, she has no value of/for herself either in any way. I know that can be what the plot focuses to change...but that never happened. We just went from miserable airheaded "I'll do anything anybody tells me to do, even sleeping with a guywhen my boss tells me to despite that being something I could go to the police with" to her and him being in love and whatnot. And even if there qwere a few well written scenes that explained why a certain character felt this and that way, most of the time it felt rushed to just make them have a reaction that moved the plot along. Which is what made this hard to read.
And I'll not even start with all the scenes that were skipped just so the plot could move along without having to come up with a conclusion... Not sure if that was just lack of ideas for how the characters could move from one scene to another or just plain laziness.
Either way, I found the reasoning of the main character much too shoujo-like (in a very bad way) and it really doesn't sit well with me that she just ignores or accepts people around her treating her like trash. (I mean, she invited her boss to her wedding. Seriously? Who in their right mind would want that kinda scumbag to be there? But oh well, shoujo-logic.)
I actually found all sidestories to be much more interesting than the main story. Especially the one of the dispossession-guy, even if the love part for him was rushed, was an interesting story and had lot of potential that was never used. Sadly.

I hung through vol.4 ch.18 but that's about as much as I really want to and can handle to see from this.
It may be a nice read for people who like this character as main, but for those looking for a well-written story, well-developed characters and characters with a realistic personality that doesn't get obnoxious at some point this will likely not be bearable for long. You might wanna try looking elsewhere. (Good luck with that tho, since office stories with passable or good artwork AND WITHOUT right-of-the-bat-obnoxious characters are really damn scarce...)
Rating: 4/10 (maybe 5, but I'm not keen on all the easy to avoid flaws it has.)
