No hate from here, I've had that opinion from the beginning and I was now wondering whether I missed something because, as you said, everything was arranged around a simple physical relationship with both parties consenting. Why should Alex be the only one treated this way?

I 100% agree with you. I don't understand why people are all "Alex is getting what he deserves hahaha!" People seem to forget that they established their relationship ages ago:
They went to dinner and Alex agreed to sleep with DG on the understanding that they would only be sex partners and nothing more. That if DG agreed to drink a cup of expensive sake Alex had ordered.
- DG saw it as a chance to be with his idol and make his fantasies come true.
- Alex needed him so he could get out of his "slump."
So this was to be mutually beneficial. Only DG started being childish, selfish, and towards the end, outright manipulative. He didn't care that Alex had his own reasons for not wanting a full on relationship. He just kept pushing his own feelings onto Alex and wanting something more than they agreed on. Then once DG found out a hint of Alex's past he chose to be selfish and make it about himself instead of accepting that Alex didn't want to talk about it and instead decided to almost ruin his job.
Given what happened to Alex, I don't blame him for not wanting to talk about it.
Not everyone can simply "get over" finding out that someone you were in love with was using you, cheated on, and was not taking your relationship seriously. That cuts people deep and it shows how emotionally sensitive Alex is. He doesn't want it happening again and has cut himself off, and to be frank, I find that really sad.

ikr... Since the beginning, Alex treated him as a sex friend. But DG self-proclaimed himself as Alex's boyfriend. Then he got mad because Alex never treated him like a boyfriend, which in Alex pov of course he did so because he saw him as a sex friend instead of boyfriend. Then he got to ruin Alex career. Well although Alex is in the wrong coz like he is using DG's feelings for him, but DG is also in the wrong. I don't understand why people only blame Alex though.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, that's for sure, but if they are so determined to defend DG, they should at least be rational when it comes to judge Alex, as well.
They are all seeing this from "innocent, lovely, deserving" DG and trashing on "violent, asshole, immature" Alex. Like. Okay. Are we reading the same story?
Much like you said, Alex told DG about the arrangement from the very beginning, the fact that DG didn't take it the best way, it's not Alex's fault.
And yes, I agree that the whole incident in Alex's show was uncalled for. DG acted childish and immature and people are like "but Alex deserved it". No. Just no. Much like I said, only the person that's wounded will know how much it hurts, so not DG, nor anyone will know how Alex feels BUT Alex.

I know I'm one of the minority here ( I'm ready for the hate, indeed ) but I don't like to see Alex this way.
I've always understood where he comes from. Why he didn't want anything involved with love. Whatever his trauma was with the other guy, I assume it was deep enough to cause a wound and then a scar. No one can meassure the depth of that. No one but the one who has it.
I don't really blame him for his actions, because I do think he warned DG about it. He didn't want emotions, and he just wanted the sex for the show.
Sure... at the end, here he is, suffering for what seems to be love. Or, well, feelings for DG.
But I think it's kind of sad that he likes somome who actually showed him love and care and fun in that meassure. I don't blame DG either but... are we going to forget DG liked Alex just for a sex show? I don't know. It looked real superficial to me.
My point is, I don't like seeing Alex suffering. Neither do I enjoyed seeing DG suffering. But I don't think Alex is the only one that needs to fix his shit.
