Was't this book about infatuation? At the end Scoot even had to bring White Fang to California because he was going to starve himself to death (and managed to escape from the looked house and tracked him down all the way to the ferry but you got the idea).
anyone else catch the the irony in chapter 2 when Ren was reading "white fang" a book about if you love something let it go. I nearly lost my shit.
