nope op is right we know NOTHING about the character and straight up assuming that she's a guy/cross-dressing is pretty damn transphobic. assuming someone's gender with the sole base being their looks when the character clearly uses feminine pronouns to address others (e.g. oppa) and calling her a guy is transphobic and there's no way around it. you guys might be right abt your guess and that's fine, but don't go around hyping up their "masculine" features, when they obviously don't want to be masculine. i don't think it holds much weight here since it's only fiction but damn it's still disrespectful to trans people. but since there are mostly fujoshi on this website, i believe the majority here won't think too much abt morals either lmao

first of all, i'm a lesbian so men, gay or not, don't do it for me. fetishising gay men? try again. i simply want more LGBT representation in manga and yaoi seems to handle it much better than yuri in my opinion. don't go around pointing fingers at someone if you don't know shit about them. secondly, what does reading yaoi exactly have to do with having morals? if you know the difference between what's fiction and actually going around fantasizing over gay men, there is no problem at all. either way, i don't think you're getting my point here. i was simply stating that it was wrong assuming someone's gender by their looks, cross-dressing or not. but i suppose by your use of the word "transgendered", you don't know much about trans people. which is okay. but educate yourself and if a trans person is offended by it, they have every right to.

As the first two replies said, any reader would assume that all the tenants in the boarding house are gay/bi/pan... and legitimate to think so since:
1- the title "Boarding House Number 5" suggests that this manhwa will be about the life(romantic life) of the tenants , who are the MAIN CHARACTERS
2- knowing this is a yaoi, all the main characters are supposed to have an inclination towards men
3- we were only at the sixth chapter which doesn't reveal much about the characters
4- if you ever been on Wattpad, read BxB or anything of the genre, I expect of you to know many clichesques ways for purple boy and white haired girl to end up together

Now, since we assume that by the end of this story purple boy will be the arms of ??? guy, the first potential lover for him is white haired girl, who he gives a lot of attention + what happened in chapter 7 . Since she is a girl and currently the most potential love option, it is obvious that we are going to ponder about her gender.

Someone made a comment, we love theories and someone said how it seems that she doesn't have boobs (all the girls seem like they are flat-chested tho), interested, I went back and just saw a panel where we hand was more defined.
