I‘m kinda curious about somehing. Luke doesn’t want bina to have another child but they obviously have sex so how do they manage birth control? I remember reading they used parts of sheep stomaches as a ‚condom‘ in the past, but I don’t think a modern girl could go through with that xD

Actually there were a few ways that women avoided getting pregnant in a society from a time when our own world was't so different. I won't get into it here but if you are really curious look it up on the internet birth control of the 14th or 15th centuries. That should be just about the same time standards as this story. But anyway I know in Egypt alone they had all kinds of things they could do to avoid it. (▰˘◡˘▰)

Also it is easier to get pregnant when a woman is younger. However, not every egg is good enough to hold a child and often no child will be concieved. Every women has their own percentage of chance to get pregnant as well, some have a higher chance than others (are more fertile). So including old tricks, knowing when you are ovulating etc, and taking into account the chance of getting pregnant...
But still, use protection if you do :D
It does not only exist to prevent pregnancies :)
