I agree. There was definitely some weird attachment between those two. It's messed up. This whole manwha is a PSA on how not to treat your children ヾ(☆▽☆) His mother was sick and she projected all those unhealthy emotions onto her son.

With that said, I'm thinking that Sangwoo was in love with his mom, but not the mother-son kinda love. I think this is why the flashback was of her naked and saying she loved his father,which in turn made him kinda jealous maybe..?? Maybe this is why he feels so attached to YoonBum because he looks so much like his mom.
I don't think there are other chapters that support this theory but from this chapter I was just wondering.
