ugetsu deserves a happy ending

Actually, what we're saying is that people who like Ugetsu should stop negating what Haruki is feeling. It's very typical for people to support characters like Murata but dismiss characters like Haruki. I like Ugetsu but I MUCH prefer Haruki. Aki did reach out to Ugetsu because he loved him. Otherwise he would have reacted to Mafuyu the same way. He didn't. He would never have felt the way he did about Murata if he didn't love him since his reaction to Ugetsu's music cut him to the core. Something painful like that can only be overcome by love, especially in dramatic stories like this. Finally, it was the emotion he expressed in his music that affected him most. Thanks.

I aso like Ugetsu you know why? because he stays TRUE to himself, he is not decieving Aki in any ways, he made clear to Akihiko what he wants. Of course I also Love Haruki, the one I dont like is Akihiko, He uses people, he used Haru's love for him so many times he even rubs on his face that he loves him ugh he only looks for Haruki when he has no one else to rely on. Despicable, just because he is in a one sided love he thinks he has the right to lash onto people, guess what Haruki is also in a one sided love with a total 100% jerk yet he doesnt hurt anyone

i never said that anyone was dismissing haruki or trivialising haruki's feelings. My point is that some people see ugetsu as merely an obstacle to their ship (aki and haruki) and that disregards ugetsu's story conpletely. I disagree with your opinion that aki would have reacted to mafuyu the same way as ugetsu; aki wanted to be a violinist not a vocalist, ugetsu was a talented violinist who aki strives to be -- meanwhile, mafuyu is a prodigy vocalist which has nothing to do with aki's childhood dreams of being a violinist -- hence he would not react the same way to mafuyu's music as compared to ugetsu's. Though our opinions differ, you are completely entitled to expressing your own and I'm enlightened to see an alternative perspective. thanks.

Obviously I never said you said people were trivializing Haruki's feelings. After all you were implying that we were trivializing Ugetsu's feelings. Why would I talk about something that you actually said if I'm disagreeing with you? Wouldn't I be talking about the opposite position to yours in that case? Hence why, like I said, people NORMALLY trivialize the feelings of characters like Haruki's, not Ugetsu's. That is why we're defending Haruki over Ugetsu. That's all I was saying, there, actually.

Finally, if Aki didn't feel the same way about Mafuyu simply because he was a vocalist then my point about Aki loving Murata because his trauma of being overshadowed by the latter didn't affect his abilities to be close to him remains and, in fact, gets stronger. W.

You stated that people who support ugetsu (a.k.a me) should stop negating (trivialising) what haruki is feeling. Hence saying ""I never said you said people were trivializing Haruki's feelings"" is rather conflicting and contradictory

If you would take a look at the comments section of this manga, you will realise that actually people NORMALLY take Haruki's side and almost everyone is validating Haruki's feelings -- i dont see a lot of people trivialising haruki and no one is talking about Ugetsu at all actually. This is why i feel like Ugetsu deserves more attention because nobody seems to care for how he feels. Again, if you prefer Haruki over Ugetsu that is perfectly fine. I am not asking you to choose Ugestu over the former for it is merely my preference.

However, i still beg to differ that aki actually loves ugetsu -- for in the end, Aki leaves ugetsu hence showing how fickle their relationship actually was. Alas, your point is still very much valid and you are entitled to believe what you want.

To me its VERY clear that Aki loves Ugetsu, actually he is crazy in love with him. Him leaving Ugetsu in the end is not proof that he never loved him. Sometimes people leave cause they are tired, they cant stand the pain any longer, they cant picture a good outcome from it so they give up even though they are in love, and lets not forget they are "together" for years!! Wich means he has been trying to make things work the way he trully wants with Ugetsu for a really long time, its only natural for him to give up at some point. I mean come on the guy is so crazy in love with him he is losing his mind he is not even thinking straight anymore, hes become a jerk, he is hurting others.

So yeah they both do love each other, but now their relationship is in pieces it has to end. TBH thats pretty much how all healthy relationships work, people fall in love people get together and once the love fades they walk apart, not every relationship gets to the 3rd part. It was never ONLY for his music, I cant deny his music is what attract him at first though, but everyone is attracted by something at first, its like a trigger it can be looks/smile/inteligence w/e love blooms after, even the famous "love at first sight" has a trigger, in this later case it happens in an instant. This is my opinion but we cant deny the facts stated in the storyline
