I get what you mean. But it's kinda different in this case. The demon side doesn't actually belong to Vald. It just possessed him. I wouldn't count it as flaws/mistakes/bad traits everyone of us has. He actually has a demon living inside of him. So I would see it as two persons.
But I don't have anything against it whatsoever.

I find it amusing how some people are saying Havi should go with either the demon or angel Val. Like excuse me, they're both Val. Both his light and dark sides are what make Val, Val.
Imagine having someone you love to bits, now imagine taking away whatever 'flaws' that person has. Wouldn't they just become an entirely different person?
