well , i never actually finished killing stalking i quit reading it because i wanted different manga plots that were newer..

I find it funny that people like you complain about rape being a crime, but when a "bad guy" is killed by a hero you never cry "murder". Why is that? Murder is just as heinous a crime as rape and murder is portrayed far more often in fiction than rape is. Moreover, it is portrayed in fiction available to even the youngest of readers/watchers. Do you think that people are unaware that rape is a crime? Are you aware that rape has been considered a crime since before the Torah or Bible were written? Equally as long as murder has been considered a crime. We "romanticize" murder in every action movie, thriller novel and action manga produced. So, why are your panties not in a bunch over it? Do you think murder is okay? Do you condone taking someone's life? Your righteous indignation is very convenient, isn't it? It appears when it gets you attention or a pat on the back, but disappears when it will not. Very convenient indeed.

I think people are more concerned about rape due to the fact that its psychologically scarring, as in, they have to live w it, while murdered ppl are simply dead, it ends at their murder(as harsh as that sounds). If u or anyone u may know has been sexually assaulted, u would know that it can often times leave you with ptsd and other issues. Now that i think about it, maybe because it hits too close to home for some people, since sexual assault against women is common. Murder is pretty common in fiction, true, and is probably more accepted because of that. Its also wrong unless it is self defense. I suppose murder is more of a grey area for some ppl, morally speaking. Regardless, no one is threatening to take ur porn away, u can beat ur meat to whatever tf u want lol but the sheer amount of non con yaoi out there is disturbing, and its usually depicted like its totally A-ok. The amount of people who dont care about the rape in yaoi tells u that much lol. Rape isnt romanticized the same way as murder is and you know that. When people romanticize rape, they try to find justifications for it. To be fair tho, a lot of things are romanticized when they shouldn't be if u look hard enough, so i guess it isnt really that rare of a phenomenon. Doesn't really make it ok at all.

There's also the fact that people are, more or less, brought up to distinguish that murder is bad. Rape, or basically anything related to sex, is a "highly controversial topic" that some (if not most, smh) parents don't bother to teach their children about - and sometimes the parents themselves don't acknowledge it as bad either.
