WARNING HAS SPOILERS!!!!!! At 1st when I saw Taiga I thought I would hate her completely bcuz I thought she was going to be the meek bimbo heroine that couldn't do shit, but I fell in love with her. I like Anri I but I like Kurogane more, especially for Taiga. I know they r both special to her and she loves them both and they love her but this is so unfair. Although i would probs feel the same as her if I was in the situation but I think I would still choose Kurogane. I am one of those girls that find it cute when a guy bullies the girl but i prefer it when he is straight forward and knows his own feelings and lets the girl know too (Klaus from the dating game Shall we date: Wizardess Heart anyone?). So I love and hate Anri. But judging from the cover and how things are going, she is most likely going to end up with Anri and her and Kurogane will end up with a semi-awkward friendship as they grow older.... I really love Kurogane and is it kinda weird that I kinda ship Anri with the little sister???

That just goes to show women are quicker to hate other women. The worst misogynists are women themselves. That gets amplified when you're on a site with lots of yaoi manga like this one. Fujoshi (yaoi fans) are very hateful, mostly towards female characters, their own gender. Because they want the guys to get together even if it's not a yaoi but a normal anime, they ship any boys regardless. They want the female characters to get out of the way or worse, to die horrible deaths just for daring to like one of the male characters.

And in shoujo, except for a few cases, if the female character is not perfect: super beautiful, super smart, super powerful etc. (aka someone who doesn't exist) they hate on the female character and want her to die and the male rivals to get together.

There's some real truth in what you said @ninhursag! Because at the very core of it, yaoi is written by women for women. And this "hate the girl" thing in the stories really are manifestations of internalized misogyny. I read somewhere that one of the reasons bl/yaoi-market thrived in japan was because the malexmale couple paved a way for girls to explore romance/sex //without the stigma of being female//... hence why most yaoi stories follow a very heteronormative dynamic --with the seme/uke roles.

Here's a really cool article on that if you're interested....

wow. you both just really missed the whole thing of what i wrote.... And i know what fujoshis are bcuz i am one. I said that I THOUGHT THAT I WOULD DISLIKE HER BUT I REALLY DO LIKE HER. And I don't want her to end up with Anri, rather I would prefer if she would end up with Kurogane. I WAS NOT SHIPPING KUROGANExANRI!
