well by that i kinda see it this way. people who are not interested in this certain genre are leaving bad reviews, which could possibly make people who WOULD be interested in this genre think that they wouldnt like this. It's like if a movie critic hated all horror films no matter what, and left bad reviews for it. Mucking up the reviews with input from people who don't like the genre. You get what im saying??
The only people who're going to leave because they see rape comments are the people who cant stand to see rape in their reads, it's probably a good thing if they leave because they're exactly the type to leave rape comments. In the 1st place, people are only complaining because there is no warning. You have these sensitive people who come in and think it's a cute fluff manga the bam! Rape and blackmail. These comments are probably helping deter the people who should be being deterred.
BL comics have a track record for being incredibly unrealistic, especially when it comes to rape. CAN I JUST SAY?? THIS IS LITERALLY THE MOST REALISTIC DEPICTION OF THIS SITUATION I HAVE EVER SEEN IN FICTION???? It's heavy, and not the mindless fluff and smut all of those "ughh! dumb uke!!" crowd are looking for, but it is telling a STORY. A well written story with realistic characters. Ugh I just love it. And I hate that all of these rabid fujo types who are only looking for "hot gay yaoi boys uwu" are here and complaining about it. If you're looking for pointless fluffy, unrealistic stories this comic simply isn't for you. Don't leave reviews on it complaining about it, because it simply is just not the genre you want. This manhwa isnt simply a means to bring pleasure thru fanservice and tooth rotting fluff or unrealistically lewd porn, it is telling an important story and depicting toxic relationships and emotions, and realistic reactions to it.
