I really suggest reading the novel. It is one of my favorite and also a lot farther in the plot then the manga.
The reasons you feel like something’s missing is because there skipping some chapters of the manga about 30 or more are missing

the sad part is that the manga is way less violent that the story. By example. the women that lost her hair. The novel description describe her like a pleagy person. But she just look like a normal monk.
I read a bit from the novel but i dropped it. Idk there's too much family drama i got bored and confused. And the manga is just all over the place
the family drama is the story itself. its about the 12 years old girl that take revenge on everyone that bullied her in her family.
yeah not my cup of tea. I've got enough family drama irl aha
unless you are keeping up with the novel, this webtoon will leave you feeling like you are missing something and it's a bit all over the place. But I do enjoy it, and it's nice having visuals to go along with the novel.
