Well, she hasn't really had any event or situation that would trigger a change in character for her.. Daniel has gone through a lot. That's why there is such a big change from before. But nothing life changing has happened to crystal yet. Currently, she is just a character "aiding" Daniel in his metamorphosis.
Daniel is getting better and better in every chapter, but Crystal is always the same. Does that mean she's not trying to become a better person as opposed to Daniel?
