Alright, my memory is as vague as hell but I really want to find it back. Some years ago I found a manga, with a young male/teenager as Mc. There was some kind of neighborhood where nobody wanted to return to. This male is kinda 'special', since he choose to return. He works as some kind of police, but I believe it was somewhat supernatural stuff in it like the 'enemy'. I do not know if it is right, but the chapter where I stopped was where the male Mc was targeted.
So for short:

Some kind of action, police/demon hunter like
