It could be the cat in his body, or him back in his body but maybe forgot that he was in cats body; instinctively remembers. I mean he was licking his hand.... maybe he got back from cats body to his own (he has same eye color as usual, purple, and the cat had yellow. When he was in cats body his eyes were purple instead of yellow. )
