I don't think he/she clearly identified as a transwoman, most characters mostly referred to pon chan as a crossdresser or in drag , so I don't think it's clear that what pronouns should be used

I don't know , I just don't feel right using "he" pronouns for them it'd make me feel dysphoric. I hope the next chapters go more into their character or backstory.

It could be that they are using gender neutral pronouns? They are commonly used in Japanese, but I dont know if that could apply here (but translator decided to stick with "he", since they are not explicitly calling him "she").

Hi! Scan team here since chapter 29.
Pon-chan is a woman, so everyone calls her she other than Hino, because he's a transphobic ass.
If we put "he" anywhere else we apologize, it would 100% be a mistake (I'm surprised to hear that we might have done that bc I get really pissy whenever I read comments referring to her as he myself & I proof every chapter...).
I know this comment was made half a year ago, but if you remember any part where we've done that we'd love to go back and fix it!

Oh & I forgot, his son does as well. Runs in the family I guess :/ But all friends should go by she
