p.s. Even other vampires don't like/approve of child vampires (in any story I've ever read they're victimized and hunted by both Vampire Slayers and Vampires themselves) so really - how can you possibly have a vampire story without at least one?

People seem uncomfortable... but if you read 'Interview With A Vampire' (Anne Rice) there's a similar situation with characters there - so - that's where I had to put my brain. That 'kid' could be hundreds of years old (in canon) think of it like a 'Legend Of Duo' style of thing who was also a 'kid' vampire but hundreds of years old. This is pretty common with Vampire Stories, they 'do' grow, but at such a slow rate they usually die before reaching their 'maturity'. I know that sounds like I've read a lot of Vampire stories ... oh. Maybe I have. But it's prevalent in the genre nonetheless.
