underage people can be in relationships??? its normal for classmates to like each other??? sure there are gross people, but kids also read this comic and its not weird at all for people to want to see these kids in relationships. people who see themselves in whatever specific character might ship that character with another who has traits they like, or yknow, just random shipping, because shipping is a part of literally every fandom.
I agree completely about people constantly going on about their ships, especially considering these particular kind of stories never focus on romantic relationships in the first place. But throwing out pedophile so carelessly like that is annoying as well. Just because I think Momo is hot, doesn’t mean I want to go out and abduct or seduce school girls does it. The faces and body of anime characters are so separate from reality that trying to compare the two is often just asinine. Yoko littner from gurren lagann is a perfect example. She has a fully devoloped body, and a typical face that could range anywhere from 15 to 30 in anime standards, and she’s 15! Taking this stuff seriously is silly, and definitely an overreaction when throwing around the word pedophile.

It was completely unnecessary to use the word pedophile when we have teenagers and probably kids reading this. But about the shipping part, people can dream (honestly I dream too) but I feel like even if it is not meant to be a romance, we can still dream about our favorite ships. But there is such thing about being too out of control with there ships, but that is just how some people are and we can just leave them to there fantasies.
