Rape ‘em till they love you, yaoi needs to stop romanticizing rape culture

the author made the ukes character too filled with anger and hatred and rightfully so, for him to just develope feelings in the last two chapters.

Seme is annoying as fuck, has no regards for the people he “loves”, when I started reading his actions genuinely made me want to vomit, but I had already started I couldn’t stop no matter how shitty and disgusting it was.

Also, the uke is so clearly suffering from PTSD and that’s not even addressed when it’s obviously a huge part of why he stopped doing the thing he loved the most.

Stockholm Syndrome never looked so ugly.

Also if you’re gonna attack me cause this is a Yaoi and it’s fiction, even yaoi and fiction should at least be somehow to an extent plotted.

Don’t even get me started on the ending, where the fuck is min?

Seme’s dad and his lover are the only decent character cause they at least had some common sense, even if it’s out of regret due to their own past.

I was just flabbergasted by Geon’s forgiving axns toward Jiheon at the end. A lot of yaoi stories do not implement the opportunity for their victims to take legal recourses against their rapists (eg. police don’t exist, law doesn’t prosecute same sex rape, etc). In this story, the law was willing to prosecute Jiheon for rape...but Geon denied everything. Just... why? I think the publisher told the author to change things at the last minute.

Thank you! While I was disappointed at him denying the charges, I definitely saw it coming Cause it’s a yaoi, this is what they always do and it’s so sad.

I can see what u mean with the publishers asking to change the story, it does make sense considering how the ending was so rushed and not related, they just wanted them to satisfy the hungry yaoi fans.

depends on the creator and the (publisher) censors i guess. if it's by a talented story teller, it could been have handled better *shrugs.
rapey love is pretty much a common thing as an excuse for porn regardless if it's het or BL hentai. it's not really that deep.
