Active responsive manga site: exists
People: time to use as my personal problems cumdumbster
Reported not manga related
I saw those types of questions on here since the beginning and even asked them myself. Personally, I would say that after some time this side becomes a part of peoples lives.
Most questions on here usually have something to do with sexuality. I tried many websites to ask for advice. I'm not talking about websites where you go to try to get laid but if I even got a response to a sexually related question it was mostly stuff such as getting send a pussy pic or the worse advice I heard. Reddit is great but it's hard to get a response. This is literally the only website where people gave me sound advice which is weird as hell. I got good advice, people warning me that the people on here will give me bad advice and nothing else.
Personally, I use this site to ask mostly manage related questions but I will ask a personal question from time to time if needed as this has been the only website where the advice was actually useful and didn't come a week after I asked.
I agree so much, I've been here for like 3 years and it has completely changed. Now it's just trolls going around disliking everything or people posting the most random things that are irrelevant or just pointless.
Also about people posting personal things, I generally didn't have a problem with it until that's all the question section became.
I guess that's what happens when any website becomes popular :/
I partly agree. Not only maturity to be able to advise, we also come from all over the world with very different backgrounds; culture, physique, etc. One advice may work for one person but not for another. Seeing some users recklessly suggested others to run away from home or kys, worries me. Anyway some people can give very wise advice.
>> So.. Discretion is necessary in both to ask & believe!!
I'm not trying to be rude when I say this, but the 'Question' section of this site has really changed. Not too long ago, this section was used to make relevant discussions regarding manga. However, we now have relatively large portion of people sharing their personal problems on the site. Most of these people seek guidance.
While I applaud them for opening up and choosing to try and better their situation, I don't believe this is the right website to use. Many factors contribute to this. For example, we could talk about how young many of the users are, resulting in (possibly) unwise instructions. We could also bring up the fact that there are hundreds of free websites that can be used alternatively. If you're looking for the raw truth, Reddit's a good site to use: r/NoStupidQuestions, r/DecidingToBeBetter etc. Quora could also be used as an alternative.
Going back to the main point, I don't think there's anything wrong with asking questions like "What's your favorite colour?" because it's a question that won't seriously impact the person's life. It becomes an issue when people start seeking guidance in the wrong place, to the wrong community.
