Kiran did love ren as you look back on the fight between karin ren and imarah . ren was getting chased by imarah , as he's getting chased karin is bond to ground by an order while trynna get up he thinks about saving ren .. He only thinks about how he needs to save him and near the end his only conclusion is he and imarah should die to save rins life he attempted to dye but ren didnt allow it he refused karin to dye for his sake when all is done they both are still alive and ren asks karin to stay by his side that he can start all over with ren. This is what i got from the story
In the whooooleee story Kiran didn't love Ren. He was crazy about Imarah. The ending didn't exactly explain much except Ren becoming the same being as Kiran and staying together.. Where is the LOVE? Ren loved Kiran but what about Kiran? Didn't exactly see him loving Ren.. So a closure would have been wonderful..
