I think he does love her. He knows that even if he’s strong he’s not going to be with her all the time. She needs to know how to protect herself. Hence why he is pushing her to at least be a little better. If you finish the whole story, you will see what I mean. It gets hella sweet and scary and I love it! I recommend you finish it. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I had to stop at chap 40-50.. I just don't understand Hanzo. He's so rough and strict to Usagi, I wish he would at least be nice? She was suffering through all of that "training" and he didn't even care.. also, does he not love her for who she is? Does she need to change that much for him to accept her as a bride?
But Usagi is also annoying at times, being so weak and a "damsel in distress" who can't even defend herself. She may be a "strong female lead" but at the same time she's just as weak.
