True, DG did agree and went over his boundaries BUT THAT IS NOTHING TO GET HIT BY!! A drunken guy at that! ALEX WHY. He has serious issues.

I also feel like Alex was dragging his feet a bit in terms of breaking it off once he knew about DG getting serious though, which I think sent a bit of a mixed message. DG thought their relationship had evolved when it hadn't, or at least not in the way he was thinking, and realizing Alex didn't agree was shocking and heartbreaking. It was a lack of communication if nothing else. He crossed a line interrupting the broadcast, but I don't think his assumption was unreasonable.
