Not only in Japan. It can have different meanings depending on country, but usually the elongated earlobes represents logevity, wealth, luck, divinity

It’s been so long since the last chapter so I’m noticing only now that the managers’ earlobes are the same as the other gods. Trouble ahead for Aoi again ?
