Fag? Is that necessary? NO. Chillout.

    youraedthiswrogn August 21, 2018 8:56 am

I feel like i'm a pretty calm guy and even i feel like using "fag" was unnecessary. It sounds like you have a problem with him being gay. It's like if you said "that old black guy", the "black" part isn't relevant to informing us that you hate this person, so when you add it in there is a focus on it.

    CheeseBall August 21, 2018 9:38 am

Yo don’t say fag if you’re not gay

    Lei August 21, 2018 10:20 am

Sorry, but what's wrong with being old and gay? Also, MC and the old man were kinda close before.

What's with the ageism? Also he hasn't raped him, nor anyone. That isn't the plot (yet anyway). It doesn't mean he isn't creepy. From what it seems James wants to basically own Ilyan's image as he represents his brand, and this doesn't just mean having him constantly wear his clothes, but controlling his personal life to an extent too.

    youraedthiswrogn August 21, 2018 9:16 pm

@Clouds and Maychan: I didn't see any rape, though maybe the car was an attempt? I can't agree that he only wants his brand on Iliyan though, he just tried to initiate sex with him. He's romantically interested in Iliyan, to the point that he doesn't care if his wife and everyone else at least suspects so. I think it'll capitalize more on his obsession later. As far as what Maychan just said, i don't think they speak fluent english, it's possible they didn't mean it like that, but who knows?

he kind of did? he know that the other "party" don't WANT any sexual thing with him. and it seem he make it clear to him MANY times. so it kind of is rape if he know the other guy, while he is much younger then him, DON'T want any kind of with him.
you can't say he isn't forcing it on him knowing the other don't want too.

like I said to @clouds, whatever it is a guy/girl, if someone keep trying to touch you, knowing you don't want any kind of sexual thing with them it kind of is Sexual harassment that letter can become rape if he is trying to touch you without your will. and it was clear the MC told him MANY TIMES before HE DON'T WANT this kind of thing.

I could see it BECOMING rape, but it wasn't yet. At most that was molestation.

Who's denying it? What we're denying is that it was "rape", which is what you said.

It's not "kind of", rape is a clearly defined crime, and what James did was sexual harassment. No one is denying that Ilyan wasn't consenting, nor that James isn't in the wrong, but the use of the term "rape" to describe what has happened so far in the plot. James kisses Ilyan without his consent, James then touched his thigh and in a later chapter, Ilyan is passed out due to drinking and heat stroke, he's naked due to the photoshoot and Kyle takes him to his room to rest and covers him up with a coat or blanket, James then finds his prized pet and takes off his blanket not caring about his dignity, then starts touching his shoulders/chest. Now, they are meant to be boss and employee, and Ilyan is reliant on James for his career so there is a big power imbalance. The plot has not yet shown rape, whether it chooses to go down that route, hopefully not, instead the focus is on James over stepping the boundaries and trying to intervene in his employees personal life. It's still early days, and the plot has been fairly light rather than offer a more stark view of the exploitation within their industry. Ilyan is the face of James Taylor, he has to only wear his clothes which isn't too far fetched, but James seems to want to think he has the right to Ilyan as a person too. The dynamic isn't yet that clear, is Helen with her husband purely for business reasons? Why would she stay with a man who looks elsewhere, especially when she is apparently wealthy in her own right. Does she actually love him, does he actually love her? Why did Helen split up from Kyle and pay him off.....

From how I see it, James is clearly interested in Illyan beyond an employer-employee relationship. This explains the expensive gifts, the ongoing scandal, the obvious jealousy of the gold-digger wife. It explains the weird contract where Illyan is contracted directly to the company, rather than through an agency.

Basically, trying to woo Illyan through the standard "affluenza" strategy: By giving them money, somehow this is supposed to give you a claim over them.

Definitely, i wouldn't even say that's debatable. He's at least sexually interested in Iliyan based solely on the scene just now where he tried to initiate sex, but it seems he's also romantically interested in Iliyan based on Hellena's dialogue and jealousy as well as the contract.

most of what I seen it will lead to rape, like always in those kind of comic's ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ come on, we not that stupid to not guess that much. I will be surpise if it won't end with rape, surpise for the batter. it start with sexual harassment many times and end with rape, it not anything new that's why I said kind off.
has for Helen, I don't think she really give a damn about him. she seem more into the Seme in this plot. but that only my guess, not that I care about this women anyway XD

That isn't the point anyone is making though. We're saying something and you keep responding like we're saying something else. We're saying SO FAR it hasn't been "rape", which is what you said happened. But yes, no one would be surprised if he did/attempted to rape him.

No, rape is a specific thing, what you're saying is wrong. If there is no penetration, it is sexual assault. Two different things, two different charges.
