People from all age groups participate in cosplay. So don't let that discourage you.

I´m 33 and I´m still reading manga, watching anime and korean drama, playing games. And going to conventions, doing a bit cosplay.
If you like something, age doesn´t matter. Just because someone other thinks anime/manga/games are childish, you shouldn´t give up a beloved hobby.
Back then, when I was your age, my family also thought it´s childish to watch "japanese cartoons". But now it´s normal. And I even have a dakimakura XD
If your friends doesn´t like it, maybe you didn´t show them the right anime for them.

Haha what. I started reading manga at 19 or 20, didn't cosplay until 23. At the conventions we have here, I don't see many underage cosplayers, I think it's mostly 20-35. But too young, too old, not a thing

Just wanted to make some friends on here. I’m 21 and sometimes i feel too old to be reading manga, Manhua, webtoons and watching anime. I don’t really know anybody who does like these things tbh and whose addicted to literally anything gay like me or even reading fanfiction. Thing that saddens me Is that I’ve never been to a comicon and have always wanted to cosplay but I feel like ive missed my chances now and I’m too old espeically when my family have always thought it was childish. So what I wanted to ask is anyone in a similar position? And id really like to make friends who likes all this cause I’ve never had a friend that does.
