I read a few of the pages, and I'm not entirely sure but I guess betas live shorter lives, and Tsukuyomi's son (different from the 3 baby hamsters) is a crow and a beta. His crow son came to say bye and that he'll "always love mama". Tsukuyomi cried and was comforted by his three babies and he wondered where his destined one is
I read different raws and the wolf and rabbit are fated pairs, just that the rabbit is the lowest of the caste system -- the wolf's narration: "my 'destiny' is a beautiful monster"
