That thing about only reacting to your pair/bond is limited to omegas only. Alphas can still react to other omegas' pheromones
That would have been the case if rin wasn't Kaoru's fated pair but since he is his fated pair he's reacting. Yuka and Taiga are fated pairs I think if they were to meet each other he would react to Taiga however not sure if he would be okay after Kaoru breaks off the pair. I think breaking off the pair causes some psychological affect on the omega. I haven't more like cant read the raws so I wouldn't know for sure.

The only thing that haunted my mind is.. Kaoru is already form a bond with Yuka but he still can react to other people? I always thought, after forming a bond, you can only react to your bond partner..
But i already ready raws anyway and i love the ending
