No, the uke USED to get vanilla. and the seme got a diff flavor each time. when they separated, the uke started getting dif flavors. when he said the seme's kiss tasted like vanilla, that would mean that the seme got vanilla. they were both getting the flavors the other used to get. <3

I think maybe he means like sweet? and gelato flavor? cold? eating ice cream reminds uke of him? or you 're right and he means like his own flavor mixed into the kiss.
I think maybe the author messed up a lil but it doesn't make a big difference I was just wondering if I misunderstood.

Serious question here. When the story was told from the student's POV he said his kisses taste like vanilla. But the uke himself was the one who got vanilla, so it's his own kiss that tastes like vanilla, and "his" are the other flavour?! ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
