I’ve actually had a crush turn out to be gay. I was surprised at first but the. I got over it. We’ve been best friends since middle school now, so 11 years or so. Now I just want him to be happy.

I would be heartbroken but not totally cause i am pretty much hopeless for relationships, even if he was straight he wont end up with me, so i might as well support him, be friends with him or i may just forget about him, but i wont ridicule him.
well i did really experience it! it was heartbroken (yes i cried for weeks bc i liked him for almost 3 years lmao) and at a brief moment i was mad bc he was giving me hope all those times like tf ??? i didnt even have a chance with u since the start?!? But then i said to him that i would keep cheering and supporting him no matter what happens (=・ω・=)
i was almost with a guy but was indeed gay, it didn't bother me at all :) because i just love gay people a lot (and i'am a fujoshi so)<3 he thought I didn't know he was gay or I saw through him :)
