In analyzing Jisuh (uke), he is your timid one but as the chapters progresses you can pinpoint his views of love and also you knew his past. I do think what drive him to be that person is because he do not want to be stepped in again by another manipulative guy. His pride won't allow it, he had is shitty relationship before and became the receiving end, cleaning up the dirt of his ex. Making him wise and an idiot as the same time. Wise that he never got revenge and idiot for being so madly in love and cleaning his mess..

Now, here comes another one, but with a different approach to make him look like a fool again (but Jisuh never knew Heejae loves him or he became transparent). Even with no feelings involves in their relationship, he felt used again for he knew what Heejae really wants of him (before Heejae lost in track). Being used as an entertainment for the other might stem his resentments from the past that Jisuh ended up being like that...
Betrayal is different from not being nice.... in Jisuh's book that is....

He could just confront him and leave as you said but he chose to bite back... it is something that somewhat stupid but for Jisuh that is better than being his former self again, admitting himself for defeat...

Usually when a story DOSNT make sense u drop it not the other way around,, I'm dropping the story because it's annoying and confusing.
