Exactly.. the sleeping around was totally unnecessary to the plot. It’s unfortunate that in the yaoi world sleeping with someone other than the one u love / like is considered casual or even a necessity as a cure for loneliness. What baffles me is that most mangakas r women with target audience as women, and yet they can’t fathom that cheating & casual sex just spoils it for most of us. I would rather watch a yaoi without these. They r more fulfilling for me as a reader. Sigh!!!

I agree with you I also dont like the sleeping around thing ugh, but unfortunately the sleeping around as a cure for loneliness or even for w/e other reason happens a lot in real life too, not only in Yaoi world. At least here in my country people sleep around like its nothing, cheating is also normal here sadly

Oh is that so? It just breaks my heart. I have lived a pretty straight life and don’t have ppl like that around and hence my exposure to such is limited. I m not sure I should take pride in that though coz there’s a saying ‘straight trees r cut first’. I know these things happen everywhere, even my country but I would rather it didn’t. I might be an optimist but I hope ppl don’t sleep around coz they r lonely. Everyone is lonely at some point particularly when we r unhappy.

Im from Brazil, here people sleep around without a reason, wich means its even worse than youre imagining, they dont need an exacuse like "oh I did it cause I was feeling lonely" they just do it. My father cheated on my mother since the day they got married till the day they divorced. My brother cheats his wife, my uncles cheat their wives, but guess what? They all "devoted christians", they all believe in Jesus and all. I feel sad for them, really. All in all men are far worse than woman here in this aspect, 90% of men here cheats, women cheating rate its lake 30% id say...so yeah to people here when they are engaged sleeping around means nothing, imagine when they are single. They do it in the shadows, everyone knows they dot it but they pretend not to. Not everyone here is like that, but most people are. Hypocritical christians this is what most people here are, stil there are a few good and honest people here. Out of 10 couples of married people here only 1 dont cheat, its pretty much like this specially among the men, women are most likely to be faithful. Where are you from?

What I want to jump into to their life and say
