
I know right. I really think it's quite palpable the fact that is set in a correspondence school and there are all kind of 'actual people' going through circuntances that didn't let them finish school normally. Quite the breather from the usual bratty classmantes, the bullies, etc that you would find in normal school life manga.
Even the rapist dude, you'd see him and think it's the usual gross despicable guy... It kept being gross and despicable, but somehow it lets you know the bastard too had circunstances that led him to a mental degeneration, pretty well depicted and summarized by the mangaka.
We are still left in the dark about what was the actual crime Mako's father committed. I think we should brace ourselves because I sense a pretty strong punch of feels incoming.
unexpectedly, i kinda like this one. the characters are real, unlike most other seinen mangas of this genre.
