Thanks, I just hope this obstacle isn't too big for our boys to get over and won't be swept under the rug with a simple "resolution" like saying "I love you". I mean sure that certainly helps but that still won't address the issue just like that. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I also love the truth of your statement at the end. Issues in a relationship aren't always black or white and sometimes things just don't work out the way we plan but most of the time it's for the better.
I've already posted this as a reply but seeing how some people still kinda hate/blame Maya or Nemu, I just wanna share my thoughts.
I think they need time apart right now. It's an essential choice in order for them to grow as individuals and prepare them before re-committing into the relationship. It's true that Nemu is still like a baby when it comes to having and maintaining a relationship but you can see that he is trying his best to keep things together even with his limited experiences let alone about "men to men" types of relationships. Maya is no different too. Even if we consider relationships he had before being with Nemu, he still lacks an important factor when it comes to relationships. He doesn't know how to connect with his partner on an emotionally deeper level and is unable to communicate his feelings to Nemu or openly talk about issues in the relationship that needs addressing. As shown when he crudely dismissed Nemu's question as "Something you shouldn't be bringing up/talking about".
I do think that is understandable for someone like Maya, the type of person who always got his way and had previous relationships being more about the physical aspects rather than emotions. I do think he has grown quite a lot in that compared to the first few chapters. But I think it's an issue along with Nemu's insecurity that both parties still need to improve on if they want this relationship to actually grow and flourish. I emphasize here that BOTH characters need the improvement and not just Maya or Nemu. Just my opinion tho'.
