I edited my post too, so I appreciate it if you read everything. xD Again, I'm just so bothered because I love Junyoung and Sihoon's genuineness, but I am annoyed with the way they dealt with their relationship. Spending four years apart clearly was not what they wanted. :/
If Junyoung moved out after their fight, I'm wondering where he went...? To Hyuk's place? I think it makes sense for Junyoung and Sihoon to sleep on separate beds too. Maybe Junyoung could have said that he ends work late and doesn't want to affect Sihoon's sleeping schedule, so he started sleeping in the guest room. But then again...does that mean Sihoon stopped picking Junyoung up from work? ╥﹏╥ I'd rather have them sleep on the same bed LOL because overtime, they could have gotten feels from seeing each other's sleeping faces in the morning. Your anger towards someone can't last forever, right? And that anger comes from loving them so much... :/
Feel free to share your thoughts too! :)
I agree that the four years wasn't what either wanted and wouldn't be necessary if they had better communication with each other. If they were sleeping together then yeah I doubt the four years thing would've happened because both would've eventually caved a little and decided to compromise and talk things out (I mean it's hard sleeping and waking up next to someone you're arguing with and it makes it easier to communicate). I thought about it and Junyoung also could've crashed at his workplace (most plausible situation) till he had found another place since he had done it in the past. But I doubt that Sihoon still picked him up from work after that argument. They probably both ignored each other the best they could and tried to go their own separate ways
Your suggestion on what happened between Junyoung and Sihoon before their breakup is so believable, it hurts ╥﹏╥ I still remember chapter 51 when Sihoon slept with his left arm out and Junyoung cuddled with him. As they're sleeping, they may roll into each other's arms. If they slept beside each other, I could see them caving in emotionally and probably wouldn't be as upset. :/
Junyoung sleeping at his workplace and Sihoon not stopping by the restaurant... OMG, why are they so stubborn?? T____T
It's heartbreaking that Junyoung was upset because he felt Sihoon didn't value our uke's desire to fulfill his dreams, and our seme thought Junyoung wasn't taking their relationship seriously. I wish they were on speaking terms with Mari at the time, so she could have smacked some sense into them LOL. "Oppa, Junyoung loves you but wants to fulfill his dreams. I know that as his best friend," and "Junyoung, my brother loves you a lot. He's cold but caring. Trust me. He's just not the best with words." <-- Ideal scenario. ><
So... how did Junyoung and Sihoon continue living under the same roof before Sihoon went to the US? Did they really not talk with each other while sharing the same bed? It was probably too awkward for Sihoon and Junyoung to have sex after their fight, but it's awkward to envision them sleeping on the same bed, far apart from each other too.... .______. I'm startled by this sudden time-skip after their fight last chapter. Did the author rush to complete the story because of the Lezhin drama?? If I'm not satisfied with the next two chapters, I will act like chapters 57-60 do not exist LOL. Junyoung and Sihoon did not need to break up and not interact AT ALL for four years( ̄へ ̄)
It's clear Junyoung and Sihoon love each other. Sihoon even acknowledged in chapter 47, "We have a communication problem" when they reconciled after the misunderstanding. I would assume that these two would be motivated to talk more after the misunderstanding, but maybe it takes time to learn...? It is true that sometimes people learn after more than one mistake but spending four years without interacting at all is just too much time wasted. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ I understand not talking for a while or spending some time apart after a fight, but I think Sihoon and Junyoung should have talked before Sihoon left South Korea. Heck, Junyoung probably went to work instead of dropping Sihoon off at the airport.... :/
After some time, it would have been lovely if Junyoung said, "I love you and want to be with you, but it's important to me to fulfill my dreams first." 'Cause Sihoon wanted to build their future together and didn't feel Junyoung was prioritizing that. We know Junyoung had plans in South Korea first, but I don't think Sihoon saw it that way. And I'm wondering why Sihoon stayed four years in the US, when he planned to stay for two years...??? I think even if Junyoung continued to decline going to the US after another discussion, they could have made arrangements, like agreeing to be in a long-distance relationship. Maybe that would have motivated Sihoon to visit South Korea within those four years or maybe Junyoung could have taken some time off work to go the States.
I appreciate that Ji Hye-Kyung demonstrates that being in a romantic relationship does not necessarily mean you give up your dreams and prioritize the other person or your relationship, over yourself. HOWEVER, I also see why people may choose their relationship and postpone pursuing their dreams without necessarily forgetting about them. We see that even though Junyoung is now the manager at his workplace and probably has sex without attachment (I talked about my confusion regarding Junyoung's sex lifestyle here -> http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3331327/), he's NOT content!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I truly had such a lonely vibe from Junyoung when he managed the restaurant alone. It just feels like he watches customers come and go as they continue their lives, while he woke up to an unnamed naked person in his bed and devotes all his time to work. :/// I don't think this is the lifestyle Junyoung dreamed of four years ago when he declined going to the States LOL!! It's sad when people fulfill their dreams but they're not happy, which is what Junyoung is experiencing :(( Baby, your dreams aka work is important to you, but your love life is also important, which is why you felt empty within these four years!! You could only use work to distract yourself so much... There is a thrill when you work towards your dream, but once you achieve that goal, then what? :/
Knowing ma man Sihoon, he missed Junyoung too. I could imagine Sihoon living alone in the States and attending his training program. There must have been moments when Sihoon would roll around in bed, his hand reaching out for Junyoung, but then being forced to accept that he and Junyoung aren't together and has to adapt to the single life again. :(( Daddy doesn't fall in love often, but damn, he fell hard for Junyoung... </3 I think like Junyoung, Sihoon must have used work as a distraction and four years flew by like that... Maybe Sihoon didn’t sleep around either if he devoted all his attention to work. – Heck, Sihoon didn't even go on his family trip. >< Is the family trip going to happen after Mari comes back to South Korea??
My thoughts on Mari are here -> http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3331403/ and my fresh feels last night are here -> http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3328775/ I'm so conflicted because I love this story for demonstrating Junyoung and Sihoon’s genuine emotions for each other, but I don't want to view it negatively towards the ending.... :/
I just hope that Sihoon and Junyoung learn to put their stubbornness aside, and cherish each other even more from now on. Please do not spend four years apart like this again. Doctors could take breaks and Junyoung could take a break after his boss comes back from travelling. Spend your time going on vacation and have way more sex! Catch up on each other's lives from these past four years. Talk about the plans for your future TOGETHER!
