I agree! Or at the least-yaoi without the rape, psycological or physical abuse.... some drama can make the story more dynamic. But get rid of the disgusting twisted shit. How about drama that’s legal? That’d be nice.
I know right? Everytime I start reading a story that looks cute, I always feel like shit will go wrongly at some point cause its almost like a law in yaoi stories. But there are manhwas like Star x Fanboy that are simply adorable (⌒▽⌒)
Most yaois have drama because that's a good way to be interesting to the readers. If you want fluffiness overload go read some shounen-ais ( some of them are very angsty though).

Well, the problem is the excesive use of those kinds of drama. It's hard to find anything under the "drama" tag that doesn't contain rape, cheating or some kind of abusive crap. There's other things to write drama without falling in those topic. Coming out to family? Overcoming an illness? Death of an ex lover? I find all of those way more interesting than the rape trope, honestly. Especially because rape almost never is written and portrayed the way it should (a traumatic experience, something bad).

That's a good point. But still, yaoi is mostly porn so we shoulnd't have high expectations about people's fucked up fantasies. Go to the shounen ai tag and you'll probably find some drama that takes some of this issues seriously or just create new interesting drama.
I like Tadaima, Okaeri, which I think is borderline shounen-ai and yaoi but we need more fluffy happy manga such as Tadaima, Okaeri.
seriously i'm sick of plots with nasty characters that discriminate, take advantage or physically or psychologically try to hurt the main character in the yaoi mangas.... isn't there a yaoi manga with just lovey dovey happy environment for the couple to be happy being in love with one another? Without cheating, without raping and without stupid trying to tear them apart.
