Actually most of the next 7 chapters is basically sex scenes, with the actual important parts of the plot, like the characters back stories being relatively minor. Throughout the manhwa, the main couples relationship never actually seemed consensual or authentic. Ryan was portrayed as being obsessed by a woman in the forest who looked like El, and Noah used Ryan as a means to not be killed by the Nobles. It was only in the last few chapter where it was shown that they knew each other as kids, and the extent of their relationship. Does that justify Ryan essentially raping Noah, and then just viewing him as a human sex doll? The side couples story was better developed, as Ian and Vicchid were a genuine, affectionate couple, who have been together for years.

I thought Vicchid literally raped Ian in one of the first few chapters? When he tried running away. There was even a warning at the beginning of that chapter.

but wasnt it said in the earlier chapters that ryan got memory problems? he didnt show any indication that he recognized noah too when he met him again.

but i totally agree with you, theyre both just using each other. i truly think they are incapable of love, since theyre both cunning men living in harsh times.
noah lost his "land, family, that magical grass" and is basically a hobo. and ryan just lusts for him, theyre just together for the benefits.

I disagree with you, Ryan feeling is deeper than that, yes he obsessed with Noah, but because he thinks it's his fate to keep searching and found Noah, as child he genuine asked Noah to leave the forest, but Noah refused. So, after his memory back, he feels like it's a destiny to keep meeting Noah, what's wrong with being obsessed to something you believe in?
