But the thing is, I think Junyoung going to the military while Sihoon is in the states is him trying to stabilize their relationship. Sihoon is already going to leave for 2 years and if Junyoung postpones his service right after that, they’re basically going to be separated for a total of 4 years while if Junyoung went at the same time that Sihoon left, they’ll only have to hold it for 2 years and can be together right away after doing their own thing. What pisses me off is that Sihoon doesn’t even consider Junyoungs feelings, like he was already so sure that Junyoung would go with him which is stupid because going into a country not knowing what you’re going to do let alone not know how to speak the language can be very difficult and scary. He shouldn’t have just expected Junyoung to give up his life in Korea to follow him to the states.
I feel ya. If I were in Junyoung's shoes, I would not agree to go to the States LOL. If Junyoung already had the desire to go to the States or is now considering going to the States, then this would be the perfect arrangement. Sihoon and Junyoung would only spend two years apart when Junyoung does go to the army, if our uke agrees to go to the States now.
I think it may appear unreasonable for Sihoon to want to stabilize their relationship, but I see that he takes their relationship very seriously. It seems like it's been a long time since Daddy last dated, and it doesn't seem he intends to find someone after Junyoung either, so I see why he wants to take their relationship to the next level. At the age of 39, it makes sense to want to settle down. Junyoung, on the other hand...this is his first relationship, he wants to establish his career, and get the army over with. At the age of 20, there’s still a lot you could do to arrange your future. I think Sihoon sees going to the States as a way for Junyoung to explore and grow, while Junyoung sees going to the States as interrupting the plans he has in South Korea. Two very different perspectives that have their own reasons to them. ><
I appreciate that Sihoon doesn't specifically say, "You're going to the States with me," but he chose to explain how the training program offer came and why he wants to take it, and then asked Junyoung, "Do you want to come with me?" Sihoon stated that he's considering on taking their relationship to the next level as well. I think Junyoung asserting what he intends to do, instead of being mindful of Sihoon’s feelings and reasoning behind the let’s-go-together suggestion, hurt Sihoon; he probably didn’t feel as certain about how serious their relationship is. :/ These two have the same intention of staying together, but it just hurts that they're on different pages in life ┗( T﹏T )┛
I hope Junyoung and Sihoon will stay in contact during their two years apart. If not, they could take a break and then spend time together after the two years are over. <33
I came back and went over the fight this chapter... It hurts me to see Junyoung cry, and that Sihoon couldn't instantly deny that he does not treat his young lover as a plaything. :( Sihoon loves Junyoung and seemed sad that Junyoung even mentioned that possibility. ┗( T﹏T )┛
Like I mentioned in my last post ( http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3305681/), Junyoung and Sihoon just want to stay together so much, and they're struggling with that based on the choices they want to make individually. Communication is so very difficult, and this story demonstrates it. Junyoung and Sihoon just aren't seeing eye-to-eye. Sihoon wants to advance his career with Junyoung by his side, while Junyoung thinks it's okay for him to go to the army now that Sihoon is going to the States. If Sihoon didn't have the offer to go to the States, Junyoung probably would have postponed his military enlistment and stabilized their relationship first... x.x
I think Sihoon wants Junyoung by his side even more, considering how busy Junyoung has been with work and the little amount of time they already spend together, despite living under the same roof. :/ Sihoon believes that going to the States together is a way for them to be together and even strengthen their relationship. So, to hear Junyoung use Sihoon's training program as a way for him to go to the army now... I think Sihoon was hurt by that. It doesn't necessarily feel (to Sihoon) that Junyoung prioritizes spending time together like our seme does. Even though Junyoung did say he considered postponing his military enlistment, the fact still stands that Junyoung hasn't and most likely won't now that Daddy is going to the States. I can see how people could feel abandoned when a loved one goes to the army... ╥﹏╥
Their choices are making them wonder what's the point in staying together. If Junyoung and Sihoon spend time apart, distance may make the heart grow fonder. I still have faith in the couple. If they managed to get together after the misunderstanding, I can't imagine that this would be the end to their relationship completely.
