Well but not wanting to die and eating humans are two completely different things. To him humans are livestock and they've always mistreated him to begin with. It's basically like someone who eats animals being afraid to die. It has nothing to do with him killing animals for his own survival. :)
The end result is him killing people though.
I think it's because the reason he became a vampire is cuz the humans killed him and his family. And then he became one. Idk but moral of the story humans are kinda shitty

The only thing that irks me is that the vampire is afraid to die but also kills humans often. I understand that it is for survival but there are blood banks out there. And he quite likes the having sex and then eating them process lol
