I totally agree with you. For this story though I don't think she will come between them, I think the author used her to make Star think about his feelings. Which is another cliche that's sad imo

I dont hate the girl for having a crush on Fan boy, but, What I hate is this dumb troupe that some girl has to come between them with her feelings, its overused, cliche, and ive never seen it done properly.
