Yes please. I would really love to read something like that.
It was a rare situation when author make something like that at the end.
Most of manga always ends up with the same plot.
So thank you very much for giving out your thoughts about your kind of ending.
So, your ending is really out of the box and I do, always thinking like that kind of ending. And not some kind ending with small talk, and then they got back together, end of story. Noooo (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I completly dont agree. Airi was happy that his bro was dumped years ago before the action. It was retrospection.
Spoilers :
In ch5 (myreadingmanga) it was clearly shown that after he started to hung out with Itsuki (didnt even date him than) he stoped masturbating while thinking about his bro and didnt kiss him when sensei was sleeping. He clearly tried to move on. And he really cares about Isuki. He even told him before that he loves someone as was suggested in new chap. He just didnt say it was his brother because he was ashamed of his unnatural, unrequited feelings. I think he is the most miserable character in the story and he really wants to stop loving his bro and move on with Itsuki. But its slow and painful process because he has loved his bro for such a long time.
I read the raws too, I somewhat agree with you. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that here. I'd still like to argue about that though. Yes, he did stopped masturbating when he remembered Itsuki I realized that too, but only for a while. We can see that that was years ago and today he still fantasizes about his brother. Maybe he did try to forget his brother in his own way. But the thing that did not sit well with me was that, in my opinion, he was partly using Itsuki as a replacement for his brother. Example was the perfume he gave him. I'm not sure if I remember it right or I got this mixed up from some other manga (I'll have to review this). Anyway, from what I remembered, he gave Itsuki the same perfume that his brother uses. That was why in the cinema, he got shocked. That was when I got convinced of his feelings. For me, that is not what someone would do if he truly wants to forget. (I have to confirm this again. I'll be back)
Well, arguments aside, I respect your views and opinions about things. We have different perspectives but in the end all of us just wants some happy ending. (Sighs) Which I hope we'll have. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I'm the type of person who would enjoy reading threesomes, but only to a certain degree. There are stories that I would absolutely hate to end in threesome, and this is on top of the list. Some of you who have different views might be offended, but don't be. We have different tastes and beliefs and it's not like we're harming anyone. You don't have to read the rest, it's going to be long. I just felt like I should let out my anger a bit.
(SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T START READING YET)
Itsuki isn't a slutty type, he was faithful and cares so much about Airi. He understood Airi's uncomfortable feeling when people looked at them while walking hand in hand in the park, and I think that small gesture speaks highly about Itsuki's love. He wasn't hurt or mad that Airi was ashamed, he understood and respected Airi's feelings. I think that is one of the reasons why Airi liked him, like not love, at least for now, I think.
Seeing Airi's attitude towards his brother, and the fact that he was happy that his brother was dumped, is enough proof that he is still in love with his brother. The thing I hate about this is that I don't see Airi trying to do anything to get over him. What's worse is that he dated Itsuki while being completely aware of his own feelings. For me, that isn't a way to get over someone. That is taking advantage of someone's feelings and using it for his own benefit.
I mean, why would you hurt Itsuki?! He's so precious! He deserves to be someone's THE ONE. It would have been so much better if he just broke up with him than making Itsuki fall harder by being so kind and sweet. That is just the worst!
I know this is just a manga and I may be just overreacting, but stories are made out of a person's ideas and a little bit of reality. Regardless if it's real or not, I hate seeing people seriously in love being taken for granted.
If I could create my own ending, it would turn out like this:
Yuuichi would know his brother's feelings for him and reject him politely. Itsuki, feeling hurt about the betrayal, makes a brand new start. He forgives Airi but never got too close. Airi realizes that he only ever felt lust towards his brother and the one he truly loves is Itsuki. After realizing what a gem he lost, he falls into despair. He tries to get Itsuki back but never saw him again after graduation. Several years later, Airi walks into the park where Itsuki and him once walked while holding hands after coming from the cinema. There, he remembers the small gesture Itsuki did and the understanding smile he had. As he was turning to get home, he saw a familiar face from the crowd, walking side by side with a man, holding hands, seemingly without a care in the world, smiling with that same contagious smile. Airi smiled bitterly as he started to walk away. The end.
Well, that's it for today fellas. I just hope, whatever the ending will be, that Itsuki get to have the love he so deserves.
