Abuse makes ppl either to the Abuser, or the abused.
Bum became and is still the abused, Sangwoo became and is still the Abuser.
Telling me or others to pity him, is like saying to pity Bums uncle or Sangwoo's mom(if she really was so f'ed up or Sangwoo is just imagining it).
But Sangwoo didn't simply become a Abuser, but someone who kills, tortures and RAPES as well.
Imo, being a Rapist is already reason enough for someone to lose their human rights.
Sangwoo became worse than Bum's uncle and he became worse than his father.
In the end, he's just more fleshed out and ppl love his "charming" Serial-Killer ass.
That's enough reasons for ppl to forget about his crimes.

Sure, but the point isn't to feel sorry for him, or to excuse him of his wrongdoings. No matter what he's done, we can still emphasise with the character, and that is the point.

Dude, unless you're a complete psychopath yourself, it's quite weird if you don't feel any empathy whatsoever towards him.
Empathy doesn't mean you agree with, like or pity someone. It doesn't have to include any of that. You can still understand somewhat where they're coming from, even though you disagree completely with how they are dealing with their situation.
Not empathize with a psycho doesn't mean I am one ,, but if u think si I'm not going to argue .. I will be more than glad to see him pay for his crimes and he deserves whatever happens to him and more .

Wanting to see him pay for his crimes doesn't mean you can't empathise with his upbringing, or his reasons, or whatever. I just think you're a little mistaken on what empathy means.
It's ok dear even if u think I am ,, all I'm trying to say that I hated sangwo since the beginning of the story and kept hating him more and more now I can't stand him or even understand why people do ,, as I said I have zero empathy for him but it's okay if people dose even though I don't understand them ..

I always feel empty for others even for the bad ones but I agree with u ,, I was happy seeing him suffering he deserves it .. it's not true that what he did make him lose his human rights.. but as I said I'm more than glad seeing him drink from his own medicine/ poison whatever
I may be wrong thinking like this but I don't belive we should pity him. Yah he had a fucked up childhood etc etc. BUT every human takes his own decisions afterall. No one forced him to kill or rape people.
At the end of the day he is still a criminal. Those "people" (ik its fiction) are still dead and Bum is still a rape victim.
We should feel bad about them. Not Sangwoo.
I agree with someone in the comments who said he should get treatment but to me it seems he knows what he is doing. Like..shit. He planned to kidnap people and planned where to hide the bodies and all those things.
Also, I'm not a specialist or anything this are just my opinions...
