Everyone is calling songwoo stupid for not confessing and not doing anything about the book whereas I'm feeling extremely bad for him. Everybody seems to be forgetting the fact that when he tried to challenge the book, bad things would start happening to Sangjin. He could get fatally hurt if he further challenges the book and tried to change his fate. At this point, I'm assuming that Ringwood believes that even consulting someone about the book could get Sangjin killed. Just keep this in mind before you lash at the poor guy.
He could just write it out and nothing bad happened, just 2 instances where his voice wasnt heard. Plus getting killed by a book seems unreasonable to say the least when the only thing that happened was when he wasnt heard :/

Nah, are you forgetting the time, a flower pot almost fell on Sangjin because of Songwoo going against the book. This book is clearly not a joke so one of the characters getting hit by a car or something doesn't seem too far off.

Also, the book never said that he didnt or did confess at least not that we know of, so it wouldnt be going against the book to confess

Oh, it's chapter 6. I think the reason why him confessing would be going against the book is because Sangjin would accept him with open arms thus changing the fate written in the book.
