yep, same problem. Just started today, I havn't had this problem in the past. I also have not changed my anti-virus recently either, so it's a new problem with the web site. I hope the people that run the site actually fix it

Have you guys tried using a VPN. I did and it fixed all problems, I'm using my phone but I think it should work for any device ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I hope this helps

unfortunately i'm reading through my laptop and i have the avira premium... so i can't do much of my own... i've tried to send an email to the mangago team... but i'm not sure if they got it... maybe if more people sent them also email they might do something...

You all just need to deactivate the web control option im the antivirus, check if you are using security extensions (like McAfee avira web securirty eccc) on your browser and either whitlist the site or deactivate the extensions.

People... I'm sorry to say this, but if you're deactivating your antivirus just to read manga, then you shouldn't have unsupervised access to the internet.
Believe me, it is NOT worth the virus that you WILL get!
The one my antivirus is detecting is, although low threat, still an annoying to remove Trojan...

Please be save on the interwebs... You're just putting your computers (and indirectly all your information) in unnecessary danger...

(And from what I've read, it's not mangago who directly put it here, but it's one that intrudes on websites and runs in the background...)

you are right!!! we can't do anything of our own!!!!!! The mangago team must take action!!! They have to remove the virus so that we won't have problems... otherwise we have to find new sites to enjoy our reading addiction!!! ;) :P ;)

I have the same problem.. probably because there is actually a virus in the page.. it has happend before many months ago and now again.. I would not recommend shuting the antivirus down

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm not the most tech savvy: Is this virus a threat to android phones? Is there some sort of difference when it comes to virus threats between PCs and phones?

What we are talking about it's not an actual threat, when I said deactivate web protection I didn't mean deactivate the antivirus. Web protection is just an extra, and often blocks sites without real reason. McAfee browser extensions blocked even normal pages sometimes.

Did you try putting it in a bag of rice?

there isn't a virus, your anti virus is probably retarded. also viruses can't just come onto your computer as they please, you'd have to download them or have them sent to you.

So the whole situation seems to have solved itself. There was never a virus. Thank you to everyone who gave advice and feedback, loved the bag of rice idea...classic! Thanks for all your help!
