That's exactly what I think too! He fell for someone too deeply that he ended up hurting himself and not wanting to be loved and become in a serious relationship.
Well I think it was just playing the whole “he gets emotional and shares his true feelings when drunk” type thing going on

Why do I get the feeling Alex is thinking DG is someone else from his past? I don't feel like their "bond" is strong enough for Alex to be acting like that even while he's drunk...(￣∇￣")
