In Japan, they bathe before getting into the tub. Usually there is a stool to sit on and a shower head. They wash themselves thoroughly, that way there is no soap or anything else in the tub. The whole family uses the same water and it can be used for laundry as well.
I don't get it...normally won't you let out hot water from the bathtub after you used it? Who would use it again for washing??? Can someone explain me?
